Replacing your utv's drive belt

Sooner or later, your machines drive belt will need replacing.
It’s not hard to do, but here’s a little known fact you should be aware of.
Drive belts are “coated” with a silicone based spray, from the manufacture, before it is shipped.
This is done to extend the “shelf-life”, and keep them flexible during shipping and while being warehoused.
If you install a drive belt with this “silicone” on the belt, there is a good chance it can slip, and could end up damaging the belt. Belts aren’t cheap, so we sure don’t want this to happen.
Take a few minutes before installing, and wash with warm water and the dish soap on your sink. That’s all it takes, for a bit of “piece-of-mind”.
